Mitzvah Inspire: Bar Mitzvah Based On Initials

Jamie K Photography services New York, New Jersey and the tri-state area.

Her Mitzvah blog is filled with terrific Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebrations. Matthew’s Bar Mitzvah party pictures caught our eye and we wanted to share all their great ideas with our readers!

This Bar Mitzvah boy from New Jersey used his initials as his theme. Afterall, his initials MSA are almost the same as the world’s most famous arena, Madison Square Garden (MSG).

Check out Jamie K’s beautiful photos below:

We always focus on what the girls are wearing. We love how Matthew’s shirt incorporated his initials

The custom bar had the Knicks’ and Rangers’ logos, along with the date of the party. Check out the score!

This great sign-in was a glass shadowbox featuring momentos from all the events the Bar Mitzvah boy attended at The Garden

What’s better than a Dunkin Donuts munchkin cake?

Dancers shirts read, Section 4, Row 28, Seat 12 for the date of 4-28-12

How about a Pop Tart bar for guests on their way out?

Of course milk was offered to go along with the Pop Tarts!

We thank Jamie K Photography for sharing this celebration with our readers.

Bar-Candy: The First Edible Cocktail!

Many Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebrations include a signature drink (non alcoholic for the kids of course).

Bar-Candy, a New York based catering company has developed an exclusive patented edible glass that will wow your guests!

Imagine offering a bubble gum-tini, a refreshing coconut mango-tini, cinnamon bun-tini, bananas foster-tini, rocky road-tini or strawberry cheesecake-tini just to name a few.

They offer mocktinis for young adults guests and you can rim the glasses with crushed cookie bits, bright fruity colors, or gold leaf. All these “drinks” are served in edible chocolate swirl cups that fit inside specially-fitted champagne and martini glasses.

The cone-shaped vessels come in melt-free milk, dark, and white chocolate and can be dyed to match decor. Bar Candy was  featured in “Whose Wedding is it Anyway,” on the Style network and voted best new product on Biz Bash.

Though Bar Candy only caters parties in the NYC area, they can ship the chocolate cones and glasses nationwide, and they’ll send you the recipe for any of their custom candy/cake/cookie-tinis…for your bartender to follow…how cool is that?
