A “got julia?” Bat Mitzvah Theme

The Needleman family from Short Hills, New Jersey, celebrated their daughter Julia’s Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, March 19, 2016, with a service at Temple B’nai Jeshurun followed by an afternoon party at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston, New Jersey.

Julia knew exactly what she wanted for her theme – “got julia?” a play on the “got milk?” campaign. For this Bat Mitzvah girl with many interests, it worked perfectly!

Invitation, Service & Mitzvah Style

The teal invitation with silver glitter was designed by Custom Parties by Bobbie Lonsk. Debbie's Designs mounted Julia's invitation to display at her service

Decor and Details

Debbie’s Designs created the decor, centerpieces, sign-in, place cards/buddy board and candle lighting.

Mitzvah Project

Julia loves animals and wanted to make bedding/blankets for animals in shelters. She chose St. Hubert’s in Madison, New Jersey, and she thought it would be great to recycle as well, so she asked for donations of t-shirts. She stuffed them and hot-glued them together to make soft blankets for the dogs/cats in the shelter.
