Community Foodbank helps private and nonprofit groups where hungry people turn for help - food pantry, shelters, senior program, shelters for the homeless, soup kitchens, child care centers, battered women's shelter. Works to educate the community and policy makers about the issues of hunger and poverty.
Bnai Mitzvah Projects or Volunteer Opportunities offered by the organization for children ages 11 - 13:
Children must be 12 to volunteer with an adult. 16 years and older does not need to be with an adult. It is by appointment in a 2 hr shift. We do a few Sunday's a year open from 1-3pm.
