An All About Alexa Themed Bat Mitzvah in Royal Manor, New Jersey

The Silver family from Suffern, New York, celebrated daughter Alexa’s Bat Mitzvah. The service and party were both held at the Royal Manor, an event venue in Garfield, New Jersey.

The logo was a hashtag #allaboutalexa with accents of purple throughout and many creative DIY touches.

Pictured L-R: Brother Jake, Mom Alissa, Bat Mitzvah girl Alexa and Dad Daniel in front of the logo’d Step-N-Repeat from Magic Moments.

The photographer was Magic Moments and the rest of the vendor information is listed at the end of the spotlight.

Alexa Silver Bat Mitzvah invite
The family worked with With Luv Design on Etsy.com. The silver invitation had purple sparkle around the border and purple rhinestone dotting the “i” in Gabrielle. The reply card was a acrostic poem setting the tone for the day to be all about Alexa

Alexa Silver kippot

Mom Alissa is quite creative and came up with many of the details herself including decorating the kippot basket

Elegant Balloons created the decor, centerpieces and balloons in shades of purple which made the room very festive. The purple up-lighting created an inviting ambiance

Alexa Silver gift box

Mom Alissa knew she wanted a gift card box so that the cards Alexa received could all be kept in one place, so she made this pretty gift card box and has since turned this ‘hobby’ into a little business. The two-tiered square card box looked perfect with a bow and sparkle

MC Pete and the Magic Moments entertainment crew kept guests on the dance floor all night. All of the guests got involved in the action on the dance floor

Alexa Silver candle lighting

Mom Alissa found Name with Flame on Etsy.com to create the custom candle lighting display. The script lettering was in purple glitter.

Alexa Silver favor

Using her logo, MazelTovGear made the comfy hooded sweatshirts. The sweatshirt lettering was purple for girls and the silver for the boys

Alexa Silver details

Kids received purple cotton candy to match the theme color. Adults received Hershey Kiss pouches that were placed on each car’s dashboard; a nice surprise from the Silver family to their guests. For the water bottles, Mom Alissa found an idea on Pinterest. She bought duct tape in this fun print and decorated each water bottle. She also made the Hershey Kiss pouches

In support of the American Cancer Society, Alexa wrapped presents during the holiday season at the Palisades Mall, West Nyack, New York.

Some advice from Mom Alissa:
“My best advice is to start early. Once the invitations were ordered, I knew the date would be approaching soon. I did as much as I could ahead of time so I could take care of any little things that came up. I am pretty crafty so I decided that whatever I could do myself, I would. I spent many nights online looking for ideas. Working off the logo that was created, I made the labels for the sweatshirts using the extra glitter card stock I was given from the invitations together with tulle using black for the boys and purple for the girls. There was no greater pleasure then really getting involved in making all of these things for my daughter and seeing them throughout the party. “
