#JustJules Themed Bat Mitzvah Celebration

The Firouztale Family celebrated daughter Jules Bat Mitzvah on April 9, 2016, at Temple Judea in Manhasset, New York. A party in her honor was held later that evening at the the Village Club of Sands Point, in Sands Point, New York — a historical Guggenheim estate, adding to the magical evening in a majestic mansion.

#JustJules was a great theme for a night celebrating this special girl.

Mitzvah Invitation and Service

When it came time to choose the invitation, the family worked with Jennifer Reierson of Jar of Ideas. They chose a custom white card with turquoise border. The invitation was displayed on the kippot basket

Jules did an amazing job leading the beautiful Saturday morning service. A kiddush luncheon followed

Party Decor and Details

The kids’ section of the ballroom was a lounge in a pink and blue color scheme showcasing the #JustJules logo by Amy Wohl of FabuDesigns.com. There was another section for the adults that offered a more elegant look and feel.

Mitzvah Music/Candle Lighting/Fun

Jules practiced a dance with her father for months which started out with 10 seconds of, “Just The Way You Are” by Billy Joel then into a rap mix, which all her guests loved.

Some advice from Mom Michelle

“Your planning cannot start early enough. Aside from booking your most important vendors way ahead of time, try to care for some of the smaller details on an ongoing basis-just keep checking things off the list. Join MitzvahMarket.com an unbelievable online resource for anything having to do with Mitzvah planning. Being well organized is definitely key to staying somewhat sane throughout the planning process and I found investing in the “Mitzvah Organizer” was one of the best decisions I made. It just made the entire planning process a lot easier. Have notepads on your night table-it’s funny how things come to mind when you least expect It. I often wondered how everything would eventually come together and somehow they just did. Make sure you take a step back the day of the event and just take it all in and don’t forget to pat yourself on the back for a job well done! Then enjoy one of the most special days of your family’s life.”

Mitzvah Project

Jules’ Bat Mitzvah project raised awareness for the Ronald McDonald House Long Island. Jules went for a tour of the house seeing firsthand what they provide to families of children confronted with illnesses seeking treatment at local hospitals.

Jules was proud to have filled two huge carts to donate to the Long Island Ronald McDonald House

Jules decided to collect non perishable items requested by the house, with two of her friends at the local Stop 'n Shop grocery store
