The Kessler family celebrated son Andrew’s (Drew) Bar Mitzvah at Temple Chaverim in Plainview, New York. This club inspired bash included a logo similar to the iconic Beats by Dre logo, with the iconic “b” flipped to a “d” for Bar Mitzvah boy Drew. The logo was used throughout the celebration for a cohesive feel with every detail meticulously planned by Mom Melissa along with a great team of vendors. This Bar Mitzvah celebration did not miss a beat!

Unique Bar Mitzvah Invitation
Drew wanted an invitation that was unique so Mom Melissa and Dad Alec went to Debbie Lee owner of Invitation House to help them create just that
Invitations were delivered to guests rolled up in a black poster mailing tube for some fun

Bar Mitzvah Decor
The Kesslers encouraged their guests to mingle, dance and celebrate in all areas of the party room!
Black leather lounge furniture lined both sides of the dance floor. All guests had access to the comfy seating and took advantage when they needed a quick break from the non-stop dancing!
Lighter Than Air Events worked closely with Drew’s mom Melissa to help bring the Urban-Glam Club theme vision to life! The adult tables had a modern vibe using artistic structures and the glow of many votive candles
The only thing more eye-catching than the table settings was the ceiling!
Great shot of the disco balls that hung from the ceiling
The space was covered in floor to ceiling black pipe and drape. Black leather couches were available to hang out on or take a break from dancing. Posters of Drew from his in-studio pre-shoot were hung around the room
One side of the centerpiece had Drew's Bar Mitzvah signage in a graffiti font
On either ends of the centerpiece there was the Bar Mitzvah boy's initials in a Beats type font
Special Party Touches
Guests were wow’d by the posters that were affixed to the buildings’ doors and windows but were really put in the mood to party once they walked under Drew’s V.I.P. Lounge entrance sign
Mom Melissa found a discounted mail box at her local Homegoods store and Lighter Than Air Events created an adhesive logo label to help turn it into Drew’s gift box!
The Kesslers also asked Lighter Than Air Events to produce an acrylic back lit V.I.P. seating chart so guests could easily find their seats
The logo was also used to create a pop of color on the silky black pillows found on the lounge furniture
Lighter Than Air Events also provided the logo'd sign-in board
Bar Mitzvah Entertainment

Guests loved the confetti canons on the dance floor!

Party Harty Entertainment's team including DJ Evan (along with Bar Mitzvah boy Drew) provided great fun on and off the dance floor
Drew had a great time on stage. He is wearing a giveaway that Mom Melissa helped to create. The music inspired winter scarves were thrown out to guests on the dance floor and enjoyed during the glow portion of the night

Bar Mitzvah Favors
The Coolest Giveaways provided the favors. The Kesslers picked out soft lightweight black hoodie that had the bright logo printed on the back
The hoodies were packed in lightweight reusable string bags that also featured their Drew's logo
Advice from Mom Melissa
“My advice to anyone planning their Bar or Bat Mitzvah is to involve your child right from the start…get them excited about the process! Ask them if they prefer a day or night party. Are they envisioning something wild or chill? What colors and theme’s make them happy? Do they like to dance or do they gravitate towards entertainment and games? Once everyone is on the same page start checking out vendor websites and social media posts to get a good feel for what each company provides. Ask friends and family who have been through the planning process who they do and don’t recommend and why. Feel free to message me for my veteran advice as well! Just remember that other’s opinions will provide you with information but you’ll need to set up appointments to meet with vendors so that you can decide who and what fits best with your family’s vibe and budget. Take a notebook with you to all appointments so you can jot down notes. Documenting what was discussed will help you stay organized along the way. Although I have so much more “Mom advice” to share,I will end by saying that you should stay true to yourself and don’t be afraid to think outside of the box. If you don’t want your room set up in a traditional way- ask your venue to work with you and see if they can suggest alternate ideas! If you want to include a specific personal detail, incorporate a family tradition or create a new one…just ask! Be original, grand or understated, DIY or purchased, there is no right or wrong way to celebrate your family’s special day!”

EK Productions LTD. is a professional group of entertainers specializing in videos, dancers, automated lighting and special effects, games, percussionists, M.C.’s, wearable favors, lounge furniture and other exciting entertainment for your affair.
They are offering something new called Star Shot! A great add-on to any Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah celebration.
Think indoor fireworks! This is a nonflammable safe pyrotechnique effect that can be used in all venues. It is a chemical reaction and it doesn’t give off any heat. It can be triggered remotely to create a dramatic effect. It an exciting addition for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah candle lighting, grand entrance and/or special dance.

Using Star Shots in the background during their candle lighting ceremony gave this family great photos
Again Star Shot is a great backdrop for those dancing guests
