EK Productions is a professional group of entertainers founded in 1986. Their company has grown from a successful D.J. operation to a full scale event planning unit, specializing in videos, dancers, automated lighting and special effects, games, percussionists, M.C.’s and other exciting entertainment for your affair.

We got the chance to learn more about E.K. Productions from President, Evan Karfinkel.
MM: Please describe your business.
EK: I have built E.K. Productions out of all things I love: music, entertainment and parties. I love being a part of the excitement that comes with all party experiences. We are a DJ Entertainment and Event Production company for all social events.

MM: How is your business unique?
EK: We are a boutique entertainment company only engaging in 3 to 4 events a weekend. We pride ourselves on having the most unique and elaborate entertainment set-ups in the industry. We only use the best sound and lighting and we also event plan for our clients at no extra charge. E.K. Productions is also a theatrical company, from our costumed openings to our elaborate stage designs, we can take your guests on a ride. We customize every event and pay attention to the smallest details. All of our production is done in-house and never farmed out. That’s how E.K. Production can make your event different.

MM: What can people expect when they hire you for their Mitzvah?
EK: What else, a great event. We are exciting, entertaining, and create a warm and fun arena for all ages to get down and party. The E.K. event is one that is flawless from start to finish. From the opening of the main room and packing your dance floor within 8 minutes to the perfect timing of a spot light dance with Dad and his daughter. Every detail and song played at your event has a meaning and a purpose. You truly will see an event that all will talk about on a Monday morning.

Evan’s produced hundreds of Mitzvahs over the years and advises you to always ask questions of whatever DJ Entertainment company you hire. He has a great list of questions on his Website.
