The Martin Bat Mitzvah Family Spotlight

The Martin family of Dix Hills, New York, celebrated daughter Rachel’s Bat Mitzvah on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Temple Beth Torah in Melville, New York.

On Saturday, March 22, 2014, there was a party in her honor at the K Lounge at Temple Avodah in Oceanside, New York.

Rachel wanted a party with just close family and friends. It was a true “kids party” that included family and adult friends who are close to Rachel. It was intimate and “outRACHous” with all familiar faces to help celebrate Rachel becoming a Bat Mitzvah.

Simon Elliot Events was the photographer and the rest of the vendor information is listed below.

The decor and centerpieces were a chevron blue, green, yellow and pink color palette. The centerpieces were bright and colorful and photos of Rachel decorated the ballroom walls.

Some advice from Mom Nancy:

“Plan early, keep organized and know that the bumps in the road all work out for the best. Relying on good friends who have gone through this planning process before was also extremely helpful.”
