Jeans, Jewels & Jerseys! Do we have your attention?
That was the fun theme for family and friends at Tyler Gersten’s Bar Mitzvah. His Mom tells us that ever since Tyler was little, he has worn a jersey to school. Instead of asking what he should wear, he would ask, “Who should I wear to school?”
His Havdallah service was held in October, 2011 and led by Rabbi Nadia Gold. His celebration followed at Fenway Golf Club in Scarsdale, New York.

Tyler’s invitation in navy blue and gold tones was created by Staci Rahamin from Sincerely Staci.

Some advice from Mitzvah Mom Laurie:
“Be attuned to what your child wants and create a party that reflects him/her. Never lose sight that this is a party for a 13 year old and a celebration of him/her becoming a Bar/Bat Mitzvah.”
