Powder Daze Ski Themed B’nai Mitzvah

The Chaiken family from Greenwood Village, Colorado celebrated their children Louis and Adam’s B’nai Mitzvah at Mile High Station in Denver, Colorado. Family and friends loved the L&A Power Daze ski theme with its great decor and special party touches.

Many of the party vendors were discovered by this family on Mitzvah Market including their entertainment company, who was flown in for the special occasion.

Guests received a scratch off Save the Date with a hidden message - we love this idea!

As guests entered the venue, snow was falling on them with the help of a snow machine

The adult table centerpieces included a variety of real winter paraphernalia like logs, snowflakes, skis and ski poles

The family had fun naming the tables like this one "Adam's Alley"

Large snowflake cutouts were used as sign-in boards

Each place setting had a S'mores kit with custom logo’d marshmallows

Guests enjoyed these custom Hershey chocolate kisses!

Valets placed the Emoji balloon key rings on guests keys when they parked the cars

Fun socks for dancing!

Custom labeled water and Gatorade were at each kid's place setting

Music and Entertainment

Thanks to New York Exclusive there was lots of fun on the dance floor. A roving caricature artist entertained as guests mingled. There was also a “floating DJ” along with MCs, dancers, a drummer and saxophone player.

B’nai Mitzvah Project

The boys participated in the Remember Us Bar Mitzvah program and shared their service with two brothers that were victims in the Holocaust. They also volunteered and donated games, crafts and toys to Bags of Fun, a charity providing backpacks full of activities for children in hospitals.

“Visualize your party with all of the details….then switch it up…think about different options and mix and match them until you get the right mix for you. Decide what you want to emphasize and where you want to spend money..or not! Take a step back and think about things from a distance- what really matters and what does not? What will you remember? Find out what matters to your child. Let them pick some elements for the party.”
