An MTV Themed Bat Mitzvah

The Lasky family celebrated the Bat Mitzvah of daughter Morgan on September 17th, 2016. The venue was the New Jersey Center for Science, Technology and Mathematics (STEM) on the campus of Kean University in Union, New Jersey.

The Bat Mitzvah’s theme was MTV (Morgan Television) and event planner Dayna Platnick along with Rooftop2 Productions and Debbie’s Bouquets created a cool, hip event that transformed this unique space into one fabulous party!

Invitation/Style/Logo 

 The invitation, kippot and service program were all presented beautifully. 

Mom Shelly created custom prayer books for the guests to follow along. Turquoise suede yarmulkes and Morgan's MTV inspired invitation were on display as well

Mitzvah Venue and Decor

The Atrium of the New Jersey Center for Science, Technology and Mathematics is a very cool event venue.

Beautiful floor to ceiling windows along with fuchsia up-lighting made for a dramatic effect

The room was decorated with silver shimmering table linens with pops of color adding a sophisticated feel

The lounge area included sleek black leather couches with colorful pillows and LED coffee tables

Mitzvah Project

Morgan and her Mom traveled to Guatemala to feed children at a malnutrition center through Orphan’s Heart. This is a non-profit organization on a mission to bring love and care to every child in need through international missions and child sponsorship. Mom Shelly and Morgan spent two days with babies and toddlers playing with them, feeding them and giving them some much needed attention and love.
