The Bar Mitzvah boy is a competitive ice hockey player and a huge fan of the sport. The family worked with Life’s Sharon Zukerman and Clarissa Marino on all the amazing hockey details including a usable synthetic ice skating rink which was kept as a surprise until the party room opened!
Ice Hockey Party Surprise
Mom Hillary worked with owner Sharon and Clarissa of Life...the place to be... to bring in the synthetic ice-skating rink for the party
While adults danced, kids skated. Later, while kids danced, other kids skated
The skating was integrated into the flow of the party so that both occurred simultaneously
The party venue, Life...the place to be provided the skates
Cubbies held the skates
Party Decor and Details
The place card table included a hockey net, sign-in hockey jersey and place card pucks
The entrance doors had decals with the Bar Mitzvah boy's initials
The centerpieces featured hockey jerseys
The adult tables looked elegant between the skating rink and dance floor
The Bar Mitzvah boy had a New York Rangers themed cake with his jersey number
A candy buffet at the end of the night for guests to enjoy
Bar Mitzvah Pre-Shoot
Ten days before the party, Photographer Todd Shapera put on his skates to take live action shots on the ice which included Arye playing goalie during an actual practice
Pictures of Arye playing hockey were looped on the screens during the cocktail party
Action photos and rink portraits of Ayre were exhibited on LIFE’s monitors during the cocktail hour and on large screens throughout the party
The Wolberg family picture perfect before the party!
Travesties Entertainment provided the awesome music and dancers
Lots of action on and off the rink
We thank Todd Shapera Photography and the Wolberg family for sharing this great Bar Mitzvah with our readers.
