The award season has officially begun with the Golden Globes on Sunday night. We love to see our favorite celebrities win awards, but let’s be honest, we LOVE to see who wore what on the red carpet!
Many of the red carpet looks we see on our favorite celebrities will be in a store near you soon!
The media outlets have not stopped dishing on who wore it best, now with the help of Rachel from It’s Simply For You, Mitzvah Market is going to take a look at some of the trends you can wear at your child’s Bar/Bat Mitzvah or as a guest!
“From ruffles and blush colors to sequins and bright red, celebrities showed us how to work their looks on the red carpet at this year’s Golden Globes.” Rachel tells Mitzvah Market, “In 2011, I’m seeing lots of ruffles and the new mermaid shape that beautifully outlines your body. It’s all about looking glamorous and red carpet ready on your child’s special day.”
Forget fancy celebrity stylists, here’s how you can “get the look” too!

Left: Christina Hendricks accomplished three red carpet trends in a one-shoulder ruffled red gown by Romona Keveza. Right: Now you can have a vibrant red ruffle dress too! From the Mac Duggal Couture Collection, this sweetheart neckline with a slight cap sleeve has crystal at the bust on this two-tone chiffon evening gown. Sections of cascading ribbon effect make up the mermaid skirt

Left: Olivia Wilde wore a strapless chocolate brown embroidered Marchesa ballgown. Right: Your Mitzvah daughter can get this fairy princess look with this Sherri Hill ball gown! Its flared skirt’s translucent outer layer is festooned with twinkling accents. The strapless bodice hugs curves and is topped off with a demure sweetheart neckline

Left: Milla Jovovich wore a light gray Giorgio Armani Privé gown. Right: Get the look in this strapless Jovani satin gown with a sweetheart neckline and subtle jewel detail along the bodice

For another blush look, check out this beautiful strapless dress by Mac Duggal Couture. It features a ruffled side bust accented by rhinestones and jewels. Side gathers makes this gown fitted through the bodice to merge to an A-line ruffled skirt with side layers

Left: Catherine Zeta Jones wore a strapless green silk gown by Monique Lhuillier. Right: Get this emerald green look in a Flirt Prom dress by Maggie Sottero. This strapless slim A-line is in taffeta and features a sweep train, ruched bodice with a sweetheart neckline and corset back
