Great Mitzvah Idea!
Mitzvah Mail reader Tracey sent us a “Mitzvah Find” that we think is really unique. She went to a Bar Mitzvah where the child’s name was Reed and fittingly the theme was “Reed All About It.” At this Mitzvah they hired Dan Hurley, also known as the “60-Second Novelist.”

We investigated and discovered that Dan will attend an event with his typewriter in hand, and roam among the guests, talking to each one. By asking simple yet direct questions, Dan whips up an imaginative, funny and warm story that he makes up and types instantly on his 1923 Remington typewriter. Guests keep their stories in a paperback book jacket.
