The Power of Flowers

After your Mitzvah celebration ends, what is going to happen to all the beautiful flowers and centerpieces you bought? Are they going to get thrown away?

We want to introduce you to a great organization called, Flower-Power Foundation in NYC. This organization was founded in 2003 and has collected an amazing amount of flowers donated from people like you after an event.

Thousands of elderly, sick and terminally ill in New York City have been touched by this act of kindness. It’s a great way to re-use the flowers and decor you invested so much in for your big day and make sure they don’t go to waste at the end of your celebration.

So if you are planning a Mitzvah and working with a florist on the design, please keep in mind this amazing way of helping and touching some people that are less fortunate!!! Even though this organization is in New York City there are plenty of hospital’s in the tri-state that will accept floral donations.
