Maxine Schwartz of mas designs jewelry created a special program called String for Charity to help raise awareness and funds for charities. This past summer $35,000 was raised using the String for Charity program which sold red string bracelets to benefit Federation of Greater Metrowest’s Israel Emergency Campaign.
The String for Charity Mitzvah Kit is a customized program that provides your child the opportunity to create awareness and raise funds for their Bar/Bat Mitzvah targeted charity. The Mitzvah Kit consists of six custom bracelets, (you choose the color), and a customized card with your copy and logo. Next, your child takes orders for the bracelets and String for Charity fulfills the orders.
Contact Maxine to discuss your personalized Mitzvah Program.
The handmade silk string bracelets come packaged on a custom card in a clear envelope. These bracelets also make a wonderful Mitzvah Favor for your Bar/Bat Mitzvah guests
The most popular red string bracelets are an interpretation of the traditional Kabbalah red bracelets and are “blinged” up with a 14 carat gold-filled chain and three gold nuggets. The bracelets are believed to protect and give strength to the wearer
