A Bat Mitzvah girl named Ashley decided she wanted to do something unique and memorable for her family and friends in honor of her Bat Mitzvah. On January 14, 2012, through Exclusive Broadway, she was able to have her Bat Mitzvah party at the Minskoff Theatre, home of the Broadway landmark, “The Lion King” for 80 of her friends and 20 adults.

Her celebration consisted of a pre-performance reception inside the theatre, sitting front and center for the Lion King performance with prime orchestra seats for everybody, a private meet and greet with the cast immediately after the show, a post-performance reception inside the theatre, and show memorabilia goodie bags for all.

Approximately 90 minutes prior to the theatre opening to the public, Ashley and her guests were exclusively invited inside the theatre where they were escorted to the private event space area. They were treated to catered food and beverages. In addition, a big-screen TV was brought in to play Ashley’s video montage

Immediately after the final curtain came down and the public left the theatre, Ashley and her guests took a seat in the front few rows of the orchestra. A moderator came out and congratulated Ashley on becoming a Bat Mitzvah. Then the cast came out and introduced themselves and their role and answered a few questions from the moderator and Ashley and her friends & family. After 20 minutes, the moderator wrapped it up and a round of applause was given to Ashley and to the cast. The look on all of Ashley’s friends faces was just PRICELESS.

Following the meet and greet with the cast, Ashley and her friends were invited back into the private event space for a post-show dessert reception. Lasting 40 minutes, everyone had cake, cookies, and brownies. Ashley’s mother and father gave a speech to Ashley and thanked everyone for making this a special day for their entire family. At that point, all the guests received Broadway goodie bags with Lion King memorabilia and Ashley’s themed sweatshirts.
